In Solution Focused Hypnotherapy we are working with a combination of powerful techniques to bring about positive change in a relatively quick timeframe. We draw on the most powerful and successful techniques of therapy from Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Humanistic Therapy and combine them with hypnotherapy to create a compelling therapy approach to bring about fast and desirable results.

One of the great benefits we have is that we are working with trance. Trance is very ordinary and we experience it on multiple occasions during the day. Another way to define trance is an altered state of consciousness. During hypnosis, we are making use of selective and focused attention to bring about successful change.
We enter trance when we are reading a book, when we exercise, meditate, listen to music and even when we watch TV. Trance is perfectly safe and perfectly normal. During trance, you will remain conscious and in complete control.

The beauty of trance is that it gives us access to the subconscious mind, the storehouse of all our habits and belief patterns. It is here where we can make shifts and make your mind work for you instead of against you. It is the subconscious mind which we have to access to bring about positive change in our lives. In other words, trance or hypnosis is when we make the best possible use of focused thought and focused attention to bring about desirable change. Trance is induced very simply by relaxation techniques. The experience is very positive and relaxing for the client.

However, we focus all our attention and skills on what we can influence in the present moment to bring about positive change and positive life experiences in the present and near future for our clients.
